when architecture inspire us

Architecture is one of the building blocks that create our p a p e l (de punt☻) universe where shapes, symmetry, repetition and geometry are part of the language we use to compose our designs. Moreover, parallel to architecture, we also use a grid system in order to build our blueprints but often this grid transcends becoming part of the final composition itself. In 2 0 1 6 p a p e l (de punt☻) was chosen to represent Colombia at the Ibero-American Biennial of Design (BID) with our collection Landscape inspired in architect Ricardo Bofill’s radical and intricate structures. Just as architecture gives life to functional, beautiful and cozy homes for people, p a p e l creates wearable homes for people, same principles different material.
